🛣️ Ministry of Works (October 2025 – April 2026)
As the Honourable Commissioner for Works, Hon. Akhabue championed a hands-on approach to infrastructure development.

• Field-Driven Leadership: He personally supervised and inspected vital road projects across all three Senatorial districts.
• Quality Delivery: His rigorous on-site oversight ensured high-quality execution and accelerated community connectivity.

💧 Ministry for Water Resources (April 2026 – September 2026)
Recognizing his administrative efficiency, Governor Okpebholo deployed him to overhaul the State’s utility infrastructure.

• The Blueprint: Hon. Akhabue engineered a proficient master plan designed to revolutionise the State’s Water Infrastructure.
• The Impact: When implemented, this Strategic Framework will deliver Clean, Sustainable Water to Millions of Households across Edo State.

Hon Akhabue worked with the Federal Ministry of Water Resources within the period as Commissioner, where he was able to key Edo State in the National Water Scheme Program and to domicile National Legal Framework for proper and efficient Service Delivery in Edo State.

🏢 Physical Planning and Urban Development (September 2026 – Present)
Hon. (Dr.) Felix Akhabue now serves as the Honourable Commissioner for Physical Planning and Urban Development.
This pivotal Ministry bears the immense responsibility of managing Urban Growth and Zoning Modern, Sustainable Cities.

This Ministry is responsible for the Physical Planning of the State, working in harmony with other Ministries to ensure the Original State Master Plan is not deliberately altered for the good of all citizens of Edo State.
Given Hon. Akhabue”s stellar track record in Infrastructure and Utility Design, there is no iota of doubt that he will bring the same excellence and landmark achievements to this new office.
