As the incumbent Governor of Bayelsa State and current Governor- Elect, 2023, His Excellency, Sen. Douye Diri continues to receive tons of congratulatory messages from well- meaning individuals and groups from Bayelsa State and beyond, a chieftain of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) and Frontline Edo Governorship aspirant, Hon. (Dr). Felix Ehiguese Akhabue, JP, aka, JOEFEL has felicitated with His Excellency, Gov. Douye Diri on his landslide victory at the just concluded gubernatorial election held on Saturday, 11th November, 2023 which he described as victory for all citizens of Bayelsa and Nigeria Democracy.

Felix Ehiguese Akhabue, JP, aka JOEFEL, who is also the, Chairman, CEO of JOEFEL-SUPREME Conglomerates, and a former Esan West Local Government Council chairman extended his sincere appreciation to the eligible voters who came out en masse to express their will through the ballot at their respected polling units.
The former ALGON National President, in a statement he personally signed, described the outcome of the election as a vote of confidence on Gov. Douye Diri’s performance since he came on board as Bayelsa State governor.
The Edo Homeboy and Governorship Hopeful said, “I congratulate Governor Douye Diri, on his re-election at the polls. Residents of Bayelsa State have reaffirmed their faith and confidence in his performance. They have confirmed the rapid developmental progress both in human and Infrastructure in Bayelsa State under the able leadership of H.E., Duoye Diri.
JOEFEL as he is popularly known charged the Governor to use the victory as a platform to continue to offer purposeful leadership, and even do more for the good people of Bayelsa State and beyond.
The former First Vice President, World Conference of Mayors used the medium to appreciate the PDP National Leadership, and especially the National Vice Chairman and South South Leader, Chief Dan Osi Orbih for the quantum selfless role He played in the processes leading to the election, and prayed that God Almighty will sustain the Duoye and PDP’s victory, and grant the Governor the wisdom, necessary resources, and perfect health to stir the mantle of leadership, and lead Bayelsa and it’s people to greater developmental height through Jesus The Christ our Supreme Leader, Amen.
