by The Edo PDP Guber front runner and Edo Star Home-Boy, Hon. (Dr.) Felix Ehiguese Godsent AKHABUE, aka JOEFEL has been Nominated as THE EDO MAN OF THE YEAR 2023 by the organizers of the 3rd edition of the “Edo Icon Award”.
The nomination which was carefully and deligently selected amongst the numerous qualified personalities, was delivered to him today by the representatives of the group.
The event of the award ceremony is expected to be conferred on the Edo 2024 Governorship hopeful on the 14th of December at the Prestige Hotels in Benin city the Edo state capital.
JOEFEL, the recipient of similar awards before on account of his exploits and contributions to the well being of the society and humanity both in private and public capacity, told the group that he was accepting the nomination to the extent that it can only spur him to remain who he is in his quest and contributions to seeing the Edo Society and the citizens upgraded progressively. He assured the group that his major concerns at the moment is how to contribute his quota to the society that will join him among the genuine heroes past that remains in the annals of good history.
He further said, just as he is been remembered today by the people of Esan West, and entire ALGON membership that he was opportune to serve in the state and country as a whole before, he truly want to be remembered more by the people of Edo state that he want to serve as from 2024 on the capacity of a governor.
